Dr. Karriker was born in Columbia, South Carolina and was raised in Spartanburg County. He attended the University of South Carolina where he received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in chemistry. He received his degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 1998. He has practiced General Dentistry in Gaffney since 1998 with an emphasis on cosmetic and family dentistry. Dr. Karriker enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, reading, working in his yard, and getting away to the beach whenever possible.

Dr. Olar was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and was raised in Cherokee County. A graduate of Gaffney High School, she later attended Wofford College where she received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Studio Art. Dr. Olar received her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 2025, where she was awarded the Huynh Huynh-Le Top Honor Graduate Award and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society. She is the daughter of Dr. Craig Karriker and Kristi Karriker and eagerly returns to Gaffney to serve her hometown community. Dr. Olar enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family, and looks forward to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Kristi brings a wealth of accounting knowledge to Craig S. Karriker, DMD, P.A.. As a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor with a master of Taxation, her knowledge in this field is an asset to our daily practice operations.

Melissa has worked in the field of dentistry since graduating from Spartanburg Technical College in 1992. She effectively wears many “hats” as a certified dental assistant and Patient Care/Financial Coordinator. Her knowledge of all things “front desk” is invaluable to our practice.

Debbie has dedicated her professional life to dentistry since graduating from Spartanburg Technical College in 1976. As a certified dental assistant she brings years of wisdom, experience and knowledge to the chairside in everything she endeavors. There is nothing “dentistry” that she does not know.

Betsy graduated from Spartanburg Technical College and has been a dental assistant since 1994. Her zest and compassion for dentistry are evident in her care and communication with patients. There is not a patient she doesn’t know, and if she doesn’t, they will know her well and feel completely comfortable with her before their appointment is done!

Linda graduated from Midlands Technical College in 1972 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Linda is always willing to step in at a moments notice from fill-in to full-time hygienist. Her skill and expertise as a hygienist place her in a league of her own among her colleagues. Hygiene is her passion!

Brittani graduated from Greenville Technical College and has practiced dental hygiene since 2013. Her skill as a registered dental hygienist and the lifelong connections and rapport she builds with her patients is an integral part of our practice.

Allison graduated from Spartanburg Technical College  and has been a dental assistant since 2004. As our newest dental assistant, she has already been a great addition to our team. It seems like she knows everybody in town, which has made patients feel instantly comfortable and at home.
